Beautiful- and the picture doesn't do it justice... it's so much hotter on skin.
Yesterday another handful of possible gift guide items showed up on my doorstep (I’m assuming thanks to the wonderful people at UPS, FedEx and the US Postal Service; most don’t bother ringing the bell to let me know they’re there, because that would be too easy…), which is quite normal given the time of the year and the fact that this past week I’ve been requesting samples of the things I’m 99% sure will be featured. What isn’t't normal is the fact that I’m pretty sure that I found my personal favorite of the year- and it’s not even crazy expensive.
It is fabulous, however.
My friend Sherri-Lyn reps a line of jewelry from Canada called ICEROCK, and she sent me one of their best-sellers – and the piece they became famous for – the Angel Wing. As soon as I opened the box I knew I was going to love it, but when I put it on I went crazy! It’s like the perfect combination of rock and sophistication- a little bit “wild and naughty” but all grown up. Does that make sense? The chain that came with it was a few inches too long for me, so I got in the car, drove to the mall (sorry, the “collection”), and bought a new one the same day. Crazy? A bit, but I’m totally in love!
The collection (the Angel Wing collection, not the mall) comes in 10 styles, including white and yellow gold and various precious stones. They also do Angel Wing cufflinks for guys, but personally I’ll stick with the necklace.
I’ll add a photo of me wearing it as soon as I remember to take one when I’m not in my pajamas and Angel Wing. It’s an interesting look, but not one I’m willing to share.
